Exploration is often rewarded in Alan Wake 2 with charms and other hidden collectibles. The Lighthouse in Watery is no different, for while there’s little reason to enter this area in the story, avoiding it would cause you to miss out on several helpful items.
Besides a Breakroom and a Cult Stash, you’ll find a Nursery Rhyme in the Lighthouse. Keep reading to learn how to solve it, where the dolls are, and where to find one of the hardest charms in the game.
Where To Find The Lighthouse Nursery Rhyme
The Lighthouse Nursery rhyme is located up the hill in Watery to the Southeast. The relevant chalk drawings, along with the rhyme itself are on the edge of the cliff.
How To Solve The Watery Lighthouse Rhyme
Once you locate the Nursery Rhyme, read the hint for a dark and confusing riddle. Unlike in Private Cabin Nursery Rhyme, only one of the necessary dolls is mentioned by name. The options for solving it are an eyeball, a boat, the waves, a bird, and a heart.
An old Watcher of the Sea before his demise
Cursed the waters that ruined his eyes
So he played a trick on the Ocean deep
The waves to fight and havoc to wreak
And in doing that wrong, lost his soul’s song.
To solve this Nursery Rhyme, you’ll need to place the Trickster Doll on the Waves, and the Wise Man Doll onto the Eyeball. This should trigger the reality fluctuation needed to reveal the charm.
Where To Find The Dolls
Luckily, the dolls are quite easy to find for this riddle. You’ll find both near the Lighthouse entrance, along with the Mother Doll. Check the railing and the ledge under the window to find all three.
Where To Find The Charm
Once you’ve defeated the Taken that spawn upon completing the Nursery Rhyme, head down a dark path to the main road. You’ll need to navigate under a fallen branch to the right of the bridge back to Downtown Watery, and the charm is on a rock below. If you choose to do this Nursery Rhyme after completing the Kaveala Knights Workshop puzzle, then finding the charm will be easier.
Collecting the Lighthouse Charm is well worth the hassle, however. Once obtained, you’ll be able to equip the charm and regain more health in Safe Havens – increasing your chances of survival.
