Laxasia The Complete is one of the last few bosses you’ll take on in Lies of P, and can be a bit challenging at first if you don’t know how to approach the battle. There are two phases, with Laxasia using different attacks for each.
There are a few ways you can handle this battle, but all in all, it isn’t the hardest in the game by any means. We’re going to be utilizing a multitude of items and methods, including the Specter and throwable weapons.
Laxasia The Complete First Phase
In the first phase of the battle with Laxasia the Complete, she will be in a full suit of armor and using a large great sword that usually attacks slowly. It does, however, have one attack that will release multiple blows on you very quickly, so you’ll need to watch out for this and guard whenever possible.
You’ll definitely want to bring along at least one or two Friendship Wishstones for your Specter, as they will be taking the brunt of the damage in this phase. This way, you can avoid Laxasia’s heavy attacks and get solid damage on her while she’s attacking your Specter. You can use just about any weapon for this phase, though it is recommended that you use a faster sword, such as the Two Dragons Sword.
When Laxasia is around half HP, you’ll be given the chance to stagger her. Make sure you take this chance, hit her with a charged attack, and then dodge her swing before approaching her again and laying a powerful attack on her. This is the best way to finish off the second half of her HP. Also, you might want to use a Friendship Wishstone at this point, as your Specter might be low on HP.
When you are dodging Laxasia’s attacks, keep in mind that hitting her from the back won’t do nearly as much damage as hitting her from the front. It’s best to hit her after she has released a powerful blow on your Specter, and she needs to regain her energy. This is when she is the most vulnerable.
Laxasia The Complete Second Phase
For the second phase, this is when we will be using all of our other items in our bag. This includes:
- Falcon Eyes Legion Arm
- Thermite
- Carcass Body Fluid Bottle
- Throwing Cell
- Shot Put
- Sharp Pipe (Optional)
- Cluster Grenade (Optional)
Laxasia will be much more agile in this phase, so we will be utilizing all of these throwable weapons in order to attack her from afar. Otherwise, she can finish you off in just a few hits. You’ll want to heal your Specter again if you need to, and do your best to keep Laxasia’s focus on him.
If your Specter is already gone by this point, then the best thing to do is dodge Laxasia’s attacks or guard them when possible. It can be a bit hard to predict when her attacks will land, however, so it might be a struggle to get perfect guards. You should make sure to notice when Laxasia is out of energy, and use this as an opening to either release a barrage of attacks on her, or use some of your throwable weapons.
If you still have your Specter, it’ll be much easier to use your throwable weapons on her and finish the battle quickly. She will mostly be focused on the Specter, and this is the best time to use up your Thermites, Carcass Body Fluid Bottles, and Throwing Cells. If you need any additional items, you can also utilize Shot Puts, or bring along the Falcon Eyes Legion Arm. If you are without your Specter, then the Aegis Legion Arm is recommended.
Thermite, Throwing Cells, and Carcass Body Fluid Bottles will do the most damage to her, and once we used up all of these, we were able to finish the battle. Afterwards, you’ll receive the Sad Zealot’s Ergo.
