Microsoft announced several important changes for the desktop version of the Edge player-oriented browser. According to representatives of the software development team, they have been in close contact with the Xbox team in creating the new features.
An updated version of the Edge homepage will allow users to quickly check out the latest gaming industry news. If logged into an Xbox account, the browser will provide quick access to the Xbox Cloud Gaming library.
More of the fun stuff: the browser supports Clarity Boost technology, which improves clarity when streaming games on Windows 10 and 11. And in the new efficiency mode, Edge will consume minimal resources when running a game.
The home page of the revamped Edge opens up access to a set of free, simple games, including Microsoft Jewel, Microsoft Edge Surf, Microsoft Majong, and others.
