Insider RalphsValve, who has previously repeatedly published subsequently confirmed “secret” information, has come forward again and shared the latest “secrets” regarding the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. According to the insider, at his disposal was the information stating that the novelty is being prepared a special game mode that now exists under the codename Project Nexus.
Apparently, Activision has high hopes for this mode, since, according to RalphsValve, nearly everyone with experience working on shooters from the publisher’s internal studios has been brought in to work on it. In terms of gameplay this mode is described as inspired by Escape from Tarkov: players will fight in PvPvE-format, and the plot of this mode will continue the main plot of Modern Warfare II.
Project Nexus is reportedly scheduled to be added to Modern Warfare II a few months after its release, sometime in the first quarter of 2023. In addition, the viability and meaning of the release of this mode will largely depend on the success (or lack thereof) of the main Modern Warfare II as well as Warzone 2.
As for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, the novelty is expected to be released on October 28 on all current platforms.
