Between the in-game store and the battle pass, Fortnite offers players plenty of cosmetic content, albeit behind some paywalls. Sometimes, however, Epic Games gives players the opportunity to unlock cosmetics for free, using codes or other methods. This month, players are offered some skins for free.
Free Fortnite skins in July 2022
Blizzard Bomber
Only available for PlayStation Plus subscribers, the Blizzard Bomber skin is completely free for those who have it. This makes the skin exclusive to the PlayStation, which unfortunately does not apply to other platforms. Nevertheless, it costs nothing to players who have access to the skin. Getting it is quite easy:
- First, go to Playstation Store.
- Next, do a search for Playstation Plus Celebration Pack.
- Once you find it, click on Add to cart button.
- After completing the checkout, which should be free, the Blizzard Bomber skin will be in your possession.
Xander
Fortunately for all players, not just PlayStation owners, Xander is available to all if you fulfill the necessary conditions. The unfortunate thing is that fulfilling these conditions may require quite a bit of time and effort from you and your friend. This is because Xander is unlocked through Fortnite’s Bring a Friend program. You must first bring a friend into the game, and then each of you must level up in the game up to 60 times. This can turn into a grueling level grind for both of you, but if you both manage to accomplish this feat before February 19, 2023, you get a skin for free.
