Talking to a friend at least once during Free Action in Part 5 will tell you about the missing item. Once you find it and bring it back, you will get A huge boost in affinity. Here is your guide to finding these items in Digimon Survive.
First, don’t waste your time looking for them. After you’ve used up all nine free actions, the event with Gazimon the Sparrow automatically launches. You will need to defeat him before he escapes to retrieve all the missing items you know about. This is a very easy battle. You will even be rewarded for your efforts with a slab of mature enlightenment.
More importantly, whose missing items you learn about during this free action. Remember: the reward is a huge affinity gain. Talk With all the people you would like to graft kinship to twice to find out about your missing item. You can find out up to 4 missing items before the Gazimon event is triggered.
The affinity level affects when your friends’ partners can civilize into the next stage(s). A higher affinity level can also trigger support bonuses and additional attacks more often. Affinity level also affects how many stats bonuses a digimon receives. If you like the kind of support a character can give, try to get as close to him or her as possible.
Mid-chapter dialogues and Free Actions are the only way to increase affinity. If you see a strange event that does not trigger any dialogue during a Free Action, it is usually a sign that you can raise someone’s (or several) level of affinity if you are patient enough to follow up on the event.
