The Witcher is one of the most successful series produced by Netflix in recent years. Specifically, Netflix has communicated that production “has been paused due to COVID and we will resume as soon as we can safely do so.”. Neither the company nor any of the people involved in the production of the series have given further details about what has led them to have to stop production completely, although it is rumored that one of the main actors could have been infected by the virus.
