Smartphones, portable gaming consoles, and even laptops allow you to play high-end games from almost anywhere. Nevertheless, the soul of many users desires more and sometimes quite unusual.
Today we’re going to talk about a YouTube blogger named Basic Homeless, who recently turned a toilet bowl into a gaming computer so that he doesn’t waste time coping with the body’s natural needs, but rather spends it to good use.
He began by cutting a giant hole in the porcelain cistern of the toilet bowl to create a window, because as you know a good gaming computer cannot be tightly hidden from view, but must delight its owner with a beautiful view of the components of the system unit. Naturally, the tank must perform its function, so it was divided into two parts: one for the components of the PC, and the other for the actual tank components and water. An exhaust fan was also added to the tank lid.
The gaming PC consists of an Intel Core i7-12700 processor mounted on a MSI Z690I Unify mini-ITX motherboard, along with 64GB of G.Skill Trident Z5 RAM and an Asus Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. The monitor is a 240Hz MSI Optix, sent by Micro Center as a sponsor.
It’s worth saying that it wasn’t without a little incident. For some inexplicable reason the modder didn’t check for leaks before installing the PC hardware, and as luck would have it, the bulkhead leaked. But after draining the water, removing some of the wet components and plenty of rubber sealant, everything fell into place.
Now the user is wondering about the longevity of the system, since there will inevitably be increased moisture in the system. In addition, the flushing efficiency of the halved cistern volume will obviously be reduced.
