Assassin’s Creed Mirage may be a bit short compared to its predecessor, but that doesn’t imply that there are no side quests. Here, they are called Tales of Baghdad, which gives you a glimpse of the issues faced by the residents of the prospering city.
In the Abbasiyah district, there are two men who require your help; one is an old man with a life of regrets, and another is an assassin informer who took more on his plate than he could carry. Follow this guide so you can fulfill these requests without any headaches.
A Life’s Work
In this side quest, you will help out Al-Mahani — a real-life mathematician and astronomer who requires your help to secure his legacy before his heart gives up; he also wants to make amend with his son, but that comes second. He needs you to fetch three pages that he considers his life work. You will have to follow him for a bit until his body fails him, and he falls to the ground.
Now, he’ll ask you to find the pages yourself but worry not, they aren’t that hard to find.
Page 1
The first page is on top of the building left to the spot where Mahani fell. When you reach it, the wind will conveniently blow, and you’ll have to do some parkour to grab the ever-escaping page.
Page 2
The second page is in the Observatory, the same building where a Viewpoint is available. The path inside is blocked, but there’s a way you can go inside. Take a round trip around the observatory and you will soon find a movable structure. Push it to the right and get on top of it. Now, take out your knife and throw it at the locked door that you will see from the window. After unlocking the door, take the stairs to the right when you are in the building, and you can pick up the scroll on the first desk you see.

The third page is on the very top of the building; parkour up until you see a weird design with several circles. You will have to push another movable structure in order to reach it.
Back to Al-Mahani
Now that you have all three pages, hurry back to Mahani. Unfortunately, his heart has given out and he’s lying on the ground. You will meet his grieving son who came to make amend with his father but reached a few moments too late. Talk to him and pick whatever option you want, as there’s no consequence of it, although, taking the blame seems like the morally correct choice.
This second side quest is much shorter than the first one. Here, you will meet Naaji, one of Mentor Rayhan’s informers, who requires your aid. He took on more responsibility than he could handle and needs you to help him out. You will have to defeat a few corrupt guards, one of whom is a Captain, so you might want to assassinate him first. After winning the scuffle, talk to Naaji again and pick whatever option you want. Once again, there are no consequences of your choice here, so select what you think is right.
