Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor is a 2014 RPG based on the classic, The Lord of the Rings, this game takes place between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The game follows Talion, a ranger who is determined to avenge his family (sounds like the protagonist of a few Assassin’s Creed games).
What makes this game similar to Assassin’s Creed Mirage is that there is an entire stealth mechanic where players can play Talion like they would any assassin. Between the stealth mechanic and the many parkour tricks you can do throughout, this game is a callback to the roots of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
7 Dishonored 2 (2016)
Dishonored 2 is an RPG developed by Bethesda back in 2016. This game follows either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano as they try to save the other. In the game, assassination and stealth are key to playing the game properly.
One of the biggest similarities to Assassin’s Creed Mirage that you may see in this game is the addition of a retractable blade. Both protagonists will carry this blade as an easy way to kill their opponents (sounds just like the Hidden Blade).

Thief is a video game published in 2014 that has been hailed as an amazing thief simulator. The game follows a master assassin known as Garrett. His duty is to steal items from the rich and use them to give to the poor, being a Robin Hood hero.
Thief is similar to Assassin’s Creed Mirage in several ways. Firstly, you will need to sneak your way around in order to steal from the rich. However, the most obvious way it is similar is that you will have the opportunity to assassinate any character that gets in your way. Ubisoft even offers players the chance to obtain clothes in the game that are inspired by the game. 3 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (2019)
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a stealth RPG that was published in 2019. It follows a ninja who goes by the name Wolf as he avenges his Lord (another similarity to Assassin’s Creed games). He travels around the game’s map, using stealth along the way, trying to regain his Lord’s honor.
What makes Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Assassin’s Creed Mirage so similar is the gameplay. In one, you play as a ninja; in the other, you’re an assassin. Each of these characters will use their stealth abilities to find and assassinate those who stand in their way.
2 Ghost Of Tsushima (2020)
In Ghost of Tsushima, you will play as Jin Sakai, a Samurai. In this game, you are tasked with helping to end the Mongol invasion of Japan. The “Ghost” part of the title refers to the fact that if you play the game as intended (in stealth), you will gain the nickname “The Ghost.”
What makes this game so similar to Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the fact that Ghost of Tsushima is meant to be played in stealth. However, just like with the former game, if you want to attack enemies outside of stealth, you can. It will just make the game a little more difficult.
