One of the newest threats that the people of Hyrule have to look out for in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the amount of things now falling from the sky. From literal islands to chunks of debris, there are a lot of things raining down all around the kingdom.
There’s also some mysterious sludge that has come down, especially around the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower, which is now blocking you from accessing the tower. Luckily, it’s not too difficult to figure out how to get rid of it. And, once you do, you will be able to see this section of the map and gain a faster way to travel around the world.

Upland Zorana Skyview Tower Location
You can find the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower in the eastern section of the map, directly northeast of the Lanayru Wetlands. It sits atop a mountain that looks over Zora’s Domain, at the coordinates 2857, 0582, 0379.
You know you are close by an abundance of some dark brown muck that is covering the ground and area around you. It will require a little but of climbing and clambering up some rocks and cliffs. Come equipped with some stamina potions to help you out and make sure you don’t go falling to your death.
How To Clear The Sludge On The Tower
You will see that this muck is also covering the tower, including its entrance, barring you from getting into the tower and accessing its console. You can’t attack it, can’t burn it, and can’t move it with any of your abilities. So what’s left to do? Well, you just have to look around you. Specifically, behind you if you are facing the tower door.
It’s hard to notice, but nearby the tower is a Zora stuck in the muck. He is calling for help, and you can go up to him and speak with him. This Zora’s name is Bazz, and though he is having some trouble being able to speak, he is able to ask you to help him and gives you a hint about how to get rid of the muck: wash it away. This will start the Mired in Muck side quest, which is all about helping Bazz get out of his current predicament. So keep following these steps to take care of this quest at the same time.
If you look around the immediate area, you will see some green fruit called Splashfruit. Pick a few of these up and get ready to throw them. You can do this by pressing and holding R, and then pressing and holding up on the D-Pad. You can then cycle through all the items in your inventory until you get to the Splashfruit.
Once you have it in your hand, aim it at the muck covering the entrance (and Bazz, if you’re feeling kind) and let it fly. The water from the Splashfruit will wash the muck away immediately. With it all clear, you are welcome to enter the tower and interact with the console.
However, Splashfruit is not the only option for clearing out the sludge, as you could use something like Chu Chu Jelly attached to an arrow to clear some of it out, or even use the Water Slash ability from Sidon to clean it. Further, you could use the Hydrant Zonai Device, which will spew water out to clear any sludge in its path. The choice is yours!
With that, you now have a fast travel point at the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower and can unlock a new section of the map.
