Open worlds encourage players to explore the environment, and Spidey fans are rewarded for doing so with significant landmarks and Easter eggs from the Marvel Universe, including the Sanctum Sanctorum and the Wakanda Embassy. However, the sequel also has a touching tribute to the co-creator of Spider-Man himself. Here’s where to find the Stan Lee statue in Spider-Man 2.

Some popular landmarks are included in the main story or the side missions of the game, making them easier to mark on the map, or visible from the skyline like the Avengers’ Tower, but some are harder to come across and can only be found through exploration—or a tip from other players.

We’re here to provide you with said scoop and reveal that the Stan Lee statue can be found in the center of the Upper West Side district within the city map, which is located right next to Central Park, and it’s a beautiful, sun-kissed location. A surrounding landmark to help you locate the statue is Mick’s Diner, which is located right next to the tribute. The diner is easy to spot thanks to its vintage brown and red style, and this location is actually present in the first game as well and mentioned by MJ to have the best fries in town.

The statue itself is bronze and roughly three times the size of Spider-Man and shows the co-creator himself looking off in the distance with his hands on his hips, wearing a short-sleeved shirt, suit pants, and brogues with a watch on his right wrist and his signature glasses to complete the look. Added to the base of the statue is the following tribute:

“Dedicated with love to the man who nourished the hearts, minds, and souls of True Believers everywhere. Excelsior!”

Within this district, you also have the following tasks to perform in order to complete the district’s progress, which may be worthwhile if you’ve already visited the area for the Stan Lee statue:

  • Photo Ops x1
  • Prowler Stashes x1
  • Hunter Blinds x3
  • Hunter Base x1
  • Spider-Bots x3
  • Unidentified Targets x1
  • Symbiote Nests x1
