Alan Wake 2 is the successor to a truly amazing paranormal experience established by the first game. While its predecessor was an Action-Adventure with notes of a horror game, Alan Wake 2 drives the franchise into a true Survival Horror experience — and does so incredibly, as seen by its score. It features a lot more tension and a creepier atmosphere. The game is not all terror, there are plenty of places to explore and puzzles to dig into, such as Nursery Rhymes. It is a good idea to save often for these games
Nursery Rhymes come in the form of notes you will find scattered throughout the game in various locations. These act as a form of collectible for those looking to accomplish everything the game has to offer, and for those looking to get every trophy offered.

Getting The Crow Doll
When it comes to Nursery Rhymes you will be required to first switch characters to Saga Anderson. Look at your map for Cauldron Lake Shore, follow the road north, and cross the bridge. After crossing this bridge, head off the road to the left to find a small campground. Look at the ground, and you will see the Nursery Rhyme note with chalk drawings all around it. This Nursery Rhyme reads as follows,
“One bird for light, Two for darkness, three birds for a fight, Four for a struggle, Five birds for injury, Six for misery, Seven for the ending, whatever it may be.”
To the east of this note will be a park bench, on the far right side of this bench will be the Crow Doll. You will need this doll to complete the Nursery Rhyme over at the Private Cabin.
Before you do, you can head back to the note you saw earlier and place this doll on the chalk drawing that resembles the sun. After a momentary shift in reality, you will see a crow land on the table you took the doll from. Head back to this table to retrieve a charm. Be sure to pick the Crow Doll back up from the chalk drawing you put it on.
Getting The Remaining Dolls
You will need two more dolls you will be able to find over at Witchfinder’s Station Nursery Rhyme. Head to the top floor of the station and you will find the Wolf Doll on a box, and the Hero doll to the left side of it. Now that you have these three dolls, head over to the north side of the Private Cabin. Once you find the Nursery Rhyme, you see the note in the middle of the chalk drawings with the following rhyme,
“A mother crow sits in her nest, Guarding her babies, doing her best. To protect her home from the beast coming to feast, But only a hero brave of heart can keep the two apart.”
Place the Crow Doll on the chalk drawing of a baby chick coming out of an egg, the Hero Doll on the chalk drawing of a heart, and the Wold Doll on the chalk drawing of a house. After the reality shift, pick them back up and turn right to see a fallen tree. Head under this tree and run forward. You will pass a tree with a box on your right side. Watch your right side, and you will see a fallen birdhouse and a charm next to it.
Reward For Solving This Nursery Rhyme
With each Nursery Rhyme Solved, you will be rewarded with a charm. The Private Cabin will give you a charm that increases Hand Flare duration and area of effect. This charm is known as the Kalevala Knights Charm.
