Honkai Star Rail: Guinaifen Best Builds, Light Cones, & Teams

Originally an outworlder, Guinaifen currently resides on the Xianzhou Luofu. She is well-known as a street performer, using tricks such as fire-breathing, sword-swallowing, bowl-balancing, and much more.

Guinaifen is a 4-Star Fire-type character on the Nihility Path in Honkai Star Rail. She is great at dealing AoE Damage, and can be a useful Sub-DPS for your team. If you want to add Guinaifen to your team, this is how you can build her.

Guinaifen Best Build & Relic Sets

As a Sub-DPS who can apply Burn DoT (Damage over Time), you’ll want to make sure you buff Guinaifen’s Effect Hit Rate and SPD. You’ll also want to increase her ATK stat to buff her overall damage. Here are the best Relic Sets for her.

2-Set Of Firesmith Of Lava-Forging & 2-Set Of Musketeer Of Wild Wheat

The 2-Set of Firesmith of Lava-Forging will increase Guinaifen’s Fire DMG by 10 percent. The 2-Set of Musketeer of Wild Wheat will increase her ATK by 12 percent. The combination of these two sets will be the most beneficial for increasing Guinaifen’s damage, with a buff to ATK and Fire DMG.

2-Set Of Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise

The 2-Set of Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise will increase Guinaifen’s Effect Hit Rate by 10 percent. Meanwhile, her ATK will increase by an amount that is equal to 25 percent of her current Effect Hit Rate, with a maximum of up to 25 percent. Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise is a great way to ensure Guinaifen is able to apply Burn DoT on enemies and increase its damage. With these sets applied on Guinaifen, here are the main stats and substats to choose for each piece.

The most important stats to build on for Guinaifen are ATK and Effect Hit Rate. You’ll want to alternate between these two stats for the Main Stat of each piece. Make sure you have around 65 to 70 percent Effect Hit Rate to be able to easily apply Burn DoT. For her Rope, you’ll want to choose Energy Regeneration if you feel like she has enough ATK, as this will allow her to frequently use her Ultimate. SPD will ensure she can take the field often.

Guinaifen Best Light Cones

Depending on what you want to focus on more, the best Light Cones for Guinaifen will either buff her DoT abilities, or increase her overall damage through ATK. You’ll want to choose the right Light Cone based on what you are lacking in your Relic build. Here are some of our most recommended Light Cones for Guinaifen.

5-Star Light Cone: Incessant Rain

Incessant Rain will increase Guinaifen’s Effect Hit Rate by 24 percent. When she deals DMG to an enemy that currently has 3 or more debuffs, this will increase Guinaifen’s CRIT Rate by 12 percent. After she uses her Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, there is a 100 percent base chance to implant Aether Code on a random hit target that does not yet have it. Targets with Aether Code receive 12 percent increased DMG for 1 turn. If you are really wanting to bump up Guinaifen’s Effect Hit Rate, then Incessant Rain is the option for you. It will also deal additional DoT to enemies that have an Aether Code planted on them.

4-Star Light Cone: Good Night And Sleep Well

Good Night and Sleep Well will increase Guinaifen’s DMG dealt by 12 percent for every debuff the target enemy has, stacking up to 3 times. This effect also applies to DoT. When pairing Guinaifen with team members that can apply debuffs, Good Night and Sleep Well becomes an incredibly powerful Light Cone. Guinaifen will receive a large boost to her DoT attacks with this Light Cone.

4-Star Light Cone Alternative: Eyes Of The Prey

Eyes of the Prey will increase Guinaifen’s Effect Hit Rate by 20 percent and DoT by 24 percent. If you don’t have access to Good Night and Sleep Well, Eyes of the Prey is another great 4-Star Light Cone for Guinaifen. It is especially focused on buffing her DoT attacks by increasing their damage and hit rate.

Guinaifen Best Team Compositions

As we mentioned before, you’ll want to bring along at least one Support character with Guinaifen that can apply debuffs to raise the damage from the Good Night and Sleep Well and Incessant Rain Light Cones. You’ll also want to include a Healer, as well as a Main DPS. Here are some recommended options.
