How To Get The Symbiote Suit

Spider-Man 2 Symbiote

For the first portion of Spider-Man 2, Peter won’t have the Symbiote suit and will be using his Spider-Arms for his abilities. As players progress through the story, the Symbiote will be introduced but won’t be given to Peter right away. Players will need to progress through the main story and get to the mission, “Good Men,” which is the 17th main mission, where Peter will obtain the suit halfway through the mission.

After getting the Symbiote suit, Peter will get access to its unique abilities and be wearing the black suit. While this suit does look awesome, players can still change Peter’s suit to any of the other options while still being bonded to the Symbiote and using its abilities.

Peter Using A Symbiote Ability In Combat

After progressing through the main story, Peter will eventually get rid of the Symbiote, along with the unique suit that comes with it in the “Suits” menu and its abilities. While not bonded with the Symbiote anymore, Peter will soon get back his Symbiote-like abilities, but due to story reasons, he will still not get the black Symbiote suit back.

After players complete the main story, they can go into the Suits menu and equip the Black or Symbiote suit whenever and use them as another appearance-altering-only suit for post-game exploration. The Black suit and Symbiote suit look incredibly similar, with the Symbiote suit having a more jagged spider design. Equipping these suits won’t alter the color of the now anti-venom abilities, as they will always be white throughout the post-game.
