Modern Warfare 3 Campaign: Early Access Release Date & Time

Last year, Activision introduced a new early access bonus to the campaign mode of its new Call of Duty games, which allows players who have pre-purchased the game to jump into the campaign mode ahead of the game’s full launch.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will also feature the same bonus, as you can start playing the campaign mode a week before its worldwide launch, which will include full access to the Zombies and Multiplayer modes. This also means you will be able to download the campaign’s data a bit earlier.

Pre-purchasing any edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will allow you to start playing the campaign from Thursday, November 2nd. Normally, you would get access to this part on November 10th, when the game fully launches across all platforms. The campaign’s file size is around 50 GB on PlayStation 5, and you can expect it to be roughly the same size on other platforms as well. Keep in mind that you must have the Call of Duty HQ data installed on your platform, which already requires more than 50 GB of free space. The new campaign will be installed as an expansion pack. Later on, you can remove the campaign files from your platform and install the Multiplayer or the Zombies if you are a bit low on space.
