Have you ever wanted the style of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to perfectly match Peter Parker’s Noir suit? Well, now you can, with just a few tweaks to the game’s settings.
Reddit user SpaceYetiGamer took to the Spider-Man subreddit this week to share their discovery, even giving an in-depth look at the game settings players need to change if they want to recreate the look. As you can see in the video below, the user has added a yellow tint to New York, and is (obviously) rocking Peter Parker’s Noir suit for added effect.
To recreate the look, you’re going to need to enable the ‘Comic SFX’ and ‘Film Style Animation’ settings, as well as fiddle with many of the game’s shader options, which are detailed in the user’s Reddit post above.
Although this probably isn’t a suitable way to play through the entire game, it does give players something new to enjoy whilst in free roam. Other Spider-Man 2 players praised the discovery, with many saying it looked “really cool” and “so dope.” Others pointed out how the filter effect and Noir suit are the perfect combination for photo mode.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has only been out for a little under two weeks, but this isn’t the first discovery a player has made. Earlier this week, another Reddit user took to the Spider-Man subreddit to share their discovery of a secret wind tunnel. With so many easter eggs and references to discover across New York City, make sure to check out our list of the top ten easter eggs in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
In our official review of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we called Insomniac’s latest title a “standout experience” in a month filled with some of the biggest games of the year. We also dubbed Spider-Man 2 as a “thoughtful thrill ride from start to finish”.
