Respawn Entertainment and EA are gearing up for one of Apex Legends’ biggest crossover events to date, as the massive battle royale title will officially be squadding up with Post Malone in just a few days.
The event, which will feature a brand-new limited-time mode and a plethora of new Legend skins, will kick off this Tuesday and be around for “two weeks of beautiful mayhem”, according to Respawn Entertainment. Alongside the new ‘Three Strikes’ LTM, the event will see new cosmetics created in partnership with Post Malone himself.
In a new blog post on the EA website, Respawn broke down everything you need to know about the Post Malone x Apex Legends event. Most notably, the event will see the arrival of a brand-new limited-time mode known as Three Strikes. The mode will feature faster revives and invincibility when downed.
The official description for the mode reads, “In Three Strikes, you and your squad will have three chances to be the last squad standing. Players can be knocked, but not killed unless the entire squad is wiped. At that point, you’ll lose a strike and respawn back into the map fully equipped. Lose all three strikes and you’re out.”
Further details on the new limited-time mode can be found on EA’s website, but if you’re just eager to jump into the event, here’s the official release date and start time.
