Starfield offers players hundreds of procedurally generated worlds to explore. All of these planets will have random points of interest generated, always giving players something new to see and experience while they explore the galaxy.
One of the more directly created planets in the galaxy is Cassiopeia I. It has a very unique and complex design to it, along with ties to Sarah’s personal story for those who are digging into her past. Even for those just looking for a new planet to explore, Cassiopeia I is a worthwhile visit; here’s how to find it.
How To Find Cassiopeia I
Cassiopeia I is found in the Eta Cassiopeia system, in the top right corner of the star map. It can be a bit far and out of the way compared to other systems and is found behind the Carinae system. The Eta Cassiopeia system has a recommended level of 20 and isn’t controlled by any major faction. There are only four planets in the system, with Cassiopeia I being the closest one to the sun.
What’s On Cassiopeia I
Cassiopeia I is a major planet in Sarah’s backstory, being the planet where her ship, the Dauntless, crash-landed, and she was stranded during her time with the UC before the events of the game. Through her personal story, this planet and a few of its unique locations can be visited. Beyond the story-related locations, there are no other randomly generated locations to visit.
For those visiting to survey the planet, it has a total of 6 fauna and 5 flora. The atmosphere is breathable, and players will be able to explore the planet without their helmets on should they desire. There are also three traits to be found and scanned to complete a survey of the planet. Six different resources can be found and mined on the planet: Chlorine, Cobalt, Copper, Fluorine, Nickel, and Water.
