If you are playing the game on PlayStation, all you need to do is to head to Activision’s website and login to your account. Now, click on the “Profile” button in the top right corner of your screen. Open the “Basic Info” tab and edit your Address field. Here, you just need to insert New Zealand as your country. You can also fill in the other text bars in the Address tab using some info from the internet if you want. That’s it! You can now get back to your console, run Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, and both Zombies and Multiplayer modes will be available for you.

Xbox Instructions

The process on the Xbox has one more step, though. After doing all the Activision-related tasks above, you also need to change the region of your console as well. So, open the Settings menu on Xbox and go to Profile & Systems. After that, open Settings, then Systems, and finally Language & Location. Here, you can choose New Zealand as the country you live in, and then you are good to go with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

Keep in mind that there is no penalty for changing your account’s location and accessing the game early. So, you can do it pretty safely without losing anything. After the game’s worldwide release, you can reset your address info on both console and Activision without limitations.
