Lethal Company has many unknown mysteries going on, one of which is the various Hazard Levels. When you go to any moon in the game, there will be a Hazard Level indicator on your screen when leaving the ship.
This can be very confusing and makes you question whether it means something or if it is just indicating the weather of the moon. This guide is here to help you understand what Hazard Levels mean in Lethal Company.
Lethal Company Hazard Levels explained
You can think of Hazard Levels as difficulty levels in Lethal Company. There are six different Hazard Levels, and the higher it is, the more monsters you are likely to face on that moon. But these levels have little to do with the loot you will find on that moon.
Many players associate monsters with moons, but that’s not the case, as Hazard Levels determine which monsters you might face on a moon. For example, you can face Ghost Girl on Experimentation if the Hazard Level is higher.
All Hazard Levels in Lethal Company
As mentioned, there are six different Hazard Levels in the game, and here is how I would describe each of them.
- S+: This is the peak difficulty level for the most advanced players.
- S: A lesser variant of the S+ difficulty.
- A: It’s challenging but offers somewhat of a balance between hard and impossible.
- B: My favorite and most moderate difficulty that strikes a balance between fun and challenge.
- C: A relaxed difficulty for players wanting to relax.
- D: The entry-level difficulty for newcomers.
