Skill Analysis

Moskov has three active skills and a passive skill like most other heroes in-game. In this Mobile Legends guide, we will also talk about the skills to use in certain scenarios as well as skill combos to be able to play Moskov to his maximum potential.

Passive – Spear of Quiescence (Buff)

Moskov Passive

Moskov’s Basic Attack can penetrate the target and deal 68%-110% Physical Damage to enemies behind it. If a Basic Attack hits a target successfully, the cooldown of Abyss Walker and Spear of Misery will be reduced to 0.5 seconds.

During a team clash, focus on positioning yourself where enemy heroes are close together or aligned perpendicularly. This positioning provides an advantage as it allows you to absorb hits and distribute the damage effectively.

CD – 7.5

Moskov Skill 1

Moskov uses the power of shadow to teleport to the designated position, increasing 1.15 times his attack speed within 3 seconds. Meanwhile, his Basic Attack deals 10% more damage to enemies behind the target.

When initiating an attack, always use this skill to reposition yourself. It’s crucial for Moskov to adjust his angle to enhance damage output, benefiting from his passive and other skills. This approach also boosts survivability, especially during team clashes, as it allows him to stay at the back and find a favourable position for launching his attacks.

Skill 2 – Spear of Misery (CC, Damage, Target-locked)

CD – 12/11.5/11/10.5/10/9.5

Moskov Skill 2

Moskov strikes at an enemy hero with full strength, dealing 300(+60% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage, and knocking back the target. The target’s position will be exposed for 5 seconds.

If the target collides with another enemy hero when knocked back, then both of them will receive 200(+30% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and be stunned for 1.5 seconds. If knocked into obstacles, the target will be stunned for 1.5 seconds.

You can use this skill to push enemies toward their tower. Teleport behind them with your first skill, then use the second skill to push them away. Be cautious—it’s risky because you get closer to their tower.

Ultimate Skill – Spear of Destruction (Burst Slowed, Global)

CD – 45/40/35

Moskov Ult

After a short period of charging, Moskov throws out the Spear of Destruction, dealing 340(+100% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies in its path and to the first enemy hero hit.

Upon hitting an enemy hero, the Spear will pierce them, dealing 10% (Physical Damage) to enemies behind them. Also, slows the enemy hero and enemies behind them by 50% (scales with flying distance) for 1s. When it hits the first enemy hero, it creates a shadow behind them, and it resets the cooldown of Moskov’s Skill 1 (Abyss Walker). You can use Abyss Walker from the shadow’s spot, which lets you teleport there. Keep in mind that this special use shares the same cooldown as the regular skill.

Pay attention to the minimap and look for team fights. If you spot an enemy with low health, you can easily eliminate them using this ult.

Unlock first skill first followed by his second skill. Unlock ultimate at level 4. Prioritize upgrading his first skill then second skill and Ultimate whenever available. Skill 1 >> Skill 2 >> Ultimate.

  • Wind of Nature: This is the best item to face against physical damage dealers. Its passive is great for outplaying enemies. Activating Wind Chant makes it immune to all physical attacks for 2s and also gives life steal.
  • Malefic Roar: If enemies have high physical defence items or tanky heroes. This item can lower their physical defence with high Physical penetration.
  • Demon Hunter Sword: DHS is the best item to counter tanks. It can melt down tanks very easily.
  • Golden Staff: This item is ideal for Moskov since it provides him with the necessary attack speed, but keep in mind it doesn’t trigger crits as it switches crit chances into extra attack speed instead. Good when paired with DHS.
  • Corrosion Scythe: This is a good item for Moskov as it applies a slowing effect to enemies he hits, making it easier for him to chase down or escape from opponents.
  • The Final Item: This depends on the enemy lineup or game situation. If the enemy has high magic damage heroes then build Athena Shield to avoid getting busted. You can also buy Immortality which can give you a chance to escape.

Moskov relies on attack speed. So his builds contain different attack speed items. Still, as a total guide provider, we will walk through different builds for Moskov, try them out, and decide which one is more beneficial according to your gameplay style. Remember that neither of these is a fixed build, except the Core items, all items should be bought according to the game situation and enemy lineup, always try items yourself to find what suits your gameplay.

Mobile Legends Moskov Gameplay Tips

Moskov is item dependent hero, like any other Marksman. It is better to focus on getting more farm and gold and avoid getting ganked in the early game. As a gold laner, you must go to the gold lane. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero. According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our Mobile Legends Moskov guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late games.

Early Game

Like most other marksmen in Mobile Legends, Moskov is not very strong in the early game. So, it is very important to know his limit and farm safely in the early game. Getting as much gold as possible should be the highest priority before reaching five minutes.

Players must use the opportunity to push the turret when there is no enemy nearby. In order to do this, good map sense is very important. Having extra gold from the turret shield is very beneficial, it will increase the gold lead and is the best way to get the core items faster. Last-hitting minions will also give extra gold.

Mid Game

Depending on the farming efficiency, players may have two or three core items. At this point, having a few core items Moskov can deal a good amount of damage. His second skill is very good is to outplay enemies. Enemies will get stunned for a long duration if they are knocked up in the walls properly. This skill is very good at ambushing an enemy.

Try to hide next to a wall and wait for any enemies to get close to the wall, use the first skill to reposition and stun them against the wall. This way Moskov can deal way more damage and enemies will have no time to react. Joining a team fight is a good idea. Help teammates while taking down objectives like a turtle.

Moskov can kill squishy heroes very fast because of his high attack speed. As a marksman, always wait for other allies to initiate and wait for a good opening to go in for the backline or squishy heroes like Marksman or Mage. Moskov has dash skill so it is very easy to reposition in teamfights, and try not to get caught by enemy Assassins or Burst damage.

Late Game

Moskov is one of the best Marksman in the late game. With full build and proper itemization, he can deal an insane amount of damage in a very short time. He can also deal AoE damage if the enemies are aligned. With proper positioning and a good initiation, he is able to wipe out the whole team.

Moskov can take down the lord very fast. So always try to help the team take down the lord as soon as possible. He is a nightmare for Marksman and Mages in the late game. He is able to kill these squishy heroes by stunning them on the wall even before they have a chance to react.

The wind of Nature also can change the tide of the battle. Perfect timing of Wind chant can easily outplay enemies and the amount of life steal he has, he can regen most of his HP by killing the enemies one by one. Active Wind Chant when fighting enemies head to head. Just one thing to remember is not to initiate the fight and stay away from the bushes in the late game, go for the backline first.
