Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is leaving players to complete the Zombies’ objectives at their own pace rather than forcing them to follow the missions in a linear order. Whether you are a fan of it or not, it is the only way to complete the story behind Zombies and make progress.
One of the objectives in the first act of Zombies requires players to destroy a Mercenaries Convoy and then steal a Stronghold Keycard from them. The second part of the objective doesn’t seem to be an issue, but players are mostly confused about how to find a Mercenaries Convoy. Well, we’ll tell you all about it.
How To Destroy Mercenaries Convoys
The Mercenaries Convoys are a group of three ground vehicles patrolling on the map. They spawn randomly in different areas of the map, but you cannot see where they are unless you are close enough to them. Since these convoys are using ground vehicles, there are two tips that will help you find them much faster. First, you need to find a vehicle to roam around the map at a faster pace. Secondly, you need to stay on the roads rather than roaming on top of mountains or hills.
Usually, when you are close to a convoy, you will receive a radio transmission from one of the Task Force 141 members, telling you that a Mercenary Convoy is nearby. Keep in mind that these convoys always include three ground vehicles. So, if you see a single ground vehicle roaming around, or a single chopper trying to hunt you down, there is no need to attack them as they will not be counted as Mercenaries Convoys.
In order to destroy a convoy, you simply need to kill all the mercenary members around the car. These convoys usually stop at a certain location and start guarding the area which is the best opportunity to attack them. Once you kill all members of the mercenaries, the last person killed will drop a keycard which will be highlighted for you. Using that keycard, you can infiltrate into the Mercenaries Strongholds.
