In order to win games in Backpack Battles, you will need to combine items to make powerful weapons, potions, and other items in order to defeat your opponents. Here is a list of all the currently available combinations, what they do, and all their stats.

Backpack Battles recipes

There are dozens of recipes in Backpack Battles, each used to boost weapons, add extra buffs to pets, make potions more powerful, and more. To upgrade a weapon or other item, you will need to place the item and its upgrade material next to each other in your backpack. After a round of them sitting next to each other, they will combine to make the new item. Here is what you can make.

Weapon recipes in Backpack Battles

Holy Spear Spear & Glowing Crown Godly Holy Melee On hit, destroy 6 shield, and cleanse 1 debuff for each starred free spot or holy item in front of it. Use 25 mana to become invulnerable and attack 100% faster once.
Hero Sword Wooden Sword & Whetstone & Whetstone Epic Melee Starred weapons gain +2 damage.
Hero Longsword Hero Sword & Whetstone & Whetstone Legendary Melee Starred weapons game +4 damage.
Falcon Blade Hero Sword & Gloves of Haste & Gloves of Haste Legendary Melee Attacks twice, starred items trigger 30% faster.
Crossblades Hero Longsword & Falcon Blade Godly Melee Starred weapons get 10 damage. Green diamonds triggers 60% faster. On hit, gain +1 damage and 3% faster.
Bloodthorne Hungry Blade & Thorn Whip Godly Vampiric Melee On hit, use one regeneration to get one vampirism and one spike. Deals +1 damage per vampirism and spike.
Shovel Pan & Broom Rare Melee On hit, get a chance to to inflict 1 blind. A chance of digging up a random item.
Poison Dagger Dagger & Pestilence Flask Epic Melee On hit, give the target 2 poison. On stun, trigger an additional attack.
Bloody Dagger Dagger & Blood Amulet Legendary Vampiric Melee Gain 1 vampirism on hit. Heal 4 per starred vampiric item.
Manathirst Hungry Blade & Mana Orb Legendary Magic Vampirism Melee Gain 1 mana. After 20 mana are gained, steal 10 life + 1 additional life for each vampirism you have.
Darksaber Lightsaber & Corrupted Crystal Godly Dark Melee Deals +0.5 damage for each debuff the opponent has. On attack, use 1 mana to inflict 1 blind.
Spectral Dagger Dagger & Mana Orb Legendary Magic Melee On attack, use 1 mana to attack health directly and deal +7 damage. On stun, triggers an additional attack.
Critwood Staff Magic Staff & Acorn Collar Legendary Magic Nature Ranged Ranger exclusive. Use 4 mana to deal +7 damage, and all your attacks are critical for the next 1s.
Staff of Unhealing Magic Staff & Demonic Flask Godly Magic Dark Ranged Reaper exclusive. Every 2s, heal for 11. Use 6 mana, for the next 2s, deal damage equal to what you heal.
Magic Staff Broom & Mana Orb Epic Magic Ranged On attack, use 3 mana to deal +6 damage and increase its damage by 2 until the end of battle.
Tusk Piercer Bow and Arrow & Walrus Tusk Legendary Nature Ranged Ranger exclusive. Gain 2 spikes at the start of the battle. When a starred weapon hits, use 1 spike to add 8 damage to Tusk Piercer’s next attack.
Fortuna’s Grace Bow and Arrow & Lucky Clover & Lucky Clover Legendary Nature Ranged Ranger exclusive. Gain 2 luck at the beginning of battle. When a starred weapons crits, Fortuna’s Grace attack twice the next time it attacks.
Belladonna’s Whisper Bow and Arrow & Pestilence Flask Legendary Nature Ranged Ranger exclusive. For every 9 damage starred weapons deal, get “next attack with Belladonna’s Whisper inflicts +1 Poison.” Deals +0.5 damage per Poison on your opponent.
Claws of Attack Gloves of Haste & Walrus Tusk Epic Melee Attacks 5% faster with every 1 spike. After 4 hits, gain 1 empower.
Eggscalibur Pan & Heroic Potion Legendary Holy Melee Deals +1 damage for each starred food. On attack, use 12 mana to trigger all starred foods.
Pandamonium Pan & Corrupted Crystal Legendary Dark Melee When starred foods activate, inflicts 1 poison.

Armor recipes in Backpack Battles

Stone Helm Cap of Resilence & Stone Skin Potion Legendary Helmet At the start of battle, reduce damage by 25% for 5s, and gain 20 shield. Gain a 25% chance to prevent incoming attacks being crits. Gain a 25% chance to prevent being stunned.
Corrupted Armor Holy Armor & Corrupted Crystal Godly Dark Armor Starred Holy items are now also Dark. Starred Dark items to help prevent debuffs you’ve given you opponent from being cleansed. Gain 70 shield at the beginning of the battle. Every 2s, cleanse 2 debuffs from yourself and put them on your opponent.
Moon Shield Shield of Valor & Mana Orb Godly Holy Shield Starred items gives you +30% shield. For each 12 shield gained this way, get 1 mana. On attacked, get a 35% chance to prevent 12 damage and remove 0.7 stamina from your opponent.
Vampiric Gloves Gloves of Haste & Blood Amulet Godly Vampiric Gloves After 4s, gain 5 vampirism, and starred items trigger 35% faster.
Vampiric Armor Leather Armor & Blood Amulet Legendary Vampiric Armor At the beginning of the battle, convert 30 health to 60 shield and gain 2 vampirism. Every 3s, convert 10 health to 20 shield.
Spiked Shield Wooden Buckler & Walrus Tusk Rare Shield When melee attacked, get a 35% chance to prevent 4 damage, remove 0.3 stamina from your opponent, and gain 1 spike up to 3 spikes total.

Torch and Fire Source recipes in Backpack Battles

Torch Wooden Sword & Lump of Coal Rare Melee On hit, get a 25% chance to gain 1 damage.
Burning Coal Lump of Coal & Source of Fire Epic Fire Gemstone When put in weapons: On hit, get 12% chance to deal +6 damage and gain 1 Heat.
When put in armor: Start of battle: Gain 15 Block. Resist 3 Cold.
When in backpack: After 5s: Gain 2 Heat, cleanse 3 debuffs.
Burning Torch Torch & Source of Fire Epic Fire Melee At the start of battle, gain 2 Heat. On hit, get a 35% chance to gain 1 damage. If you have at least 15 Heat, gain 2 damage instead.
Magic Torch Torch & Mana Potion Legendary Magic Fire Melee On hit and using 1 Mana, this and starred weapons gain 1 damage.

Potion recipes in Backpack Battles

Strong Health Potion Health Potion & Healing Herbs Epic Potion When your health drops below 50%, consume this and heal for 18, gain 2 Regeneration and cleanse 4 Poison.
Strong Stone Skin Potion Stone Skin Potion & Stone & Stone Legendary Potion When you have at least 45 Block, consume this and convert 15 health to 35 Block and gain 2 spikes for 4s.
Strong Heroic Potion Heroic Potion & Banana Legendary Potion When you are out of stamina, consume this and regenerate 4 stamina and gain 1 Empower.
Strong Pestilence Flask Fly Agaric & Pestilence Flask Legendary Potion Reaper exclusive. When your opponent regenerates health, consume this and inflict 3 Poison and 1 Poison to yourself. After 7s, inflict another 3 Poison.
Mana Potion Health Potion & Blueberries Epic Potion When mana is used or your health drops below 50%, consume this and gain 4 Mana and 15 maximum health.
Strong Demonic Flask Demonic Flask & Corrupted Crystal Godly Dark Potion Reaper exclusive. If an opponent drops below 50% health, consume this and steal 0.4 life for each debuff of your opponent, and for 3s, reduce opponent’s healing by 30%.

Pet recipes in Backpack Battles

Carrot Goobert Goobert & Carrot & Carrot Epic Nature Pet Ranger exclusive. Carrot Goobert, the exclusive pet of the Ranger, removes debuffs and increases the damage of all weapons by 2 for 4 seconds.
Poison Goobert Goobert & Fly Agaric & Fly Agaric Epic Nature Pet Starred item activations cleanses 3 random debuffs and gain 2 Empower for 4 seconds.
Steel Goobert Goobert & Hero Sword Legendary Pet When a starred item activates, diamonded weapons gain +2 damage. Gain 16 Block.
Blood Goobert Goobert & Blood Amulet Legendary Blood Pet At the start of battle, gain 2 Vampirism. When starred items activates, steal 10 life, increased by 1 for each Vampirism.
Light Goobert Goobert & Lightsaber Godly Holy Pet On starred item activations, heal for 20 and inflict 6 Blind for 3s.

Ruby Chonk Ruby Whelp & Holo Fire Lizard Godly Ranged Pet Reaper exclusive. On hit, gain 1 Heat. When you have at least 12 Heat, Ruby Chonk gains a 30% chance to stun your opponent for 0.4s.

Heart of Darkness Heart Container & Corrupted Crystal Godly Dark Accessory Every 4s, steal 2 buffs, prioritizing Regeneration. Triggers 20% faster for each Star Dark item. Use 7 Regeneration to gain 80 maximum health, 4 Empower and your opponent’s healing is reduced by 40% (once).
Lucky Piggy Piggybank & Lucky Clover & Lucky Clover Epic Accessory Whenever you enter the shop, gain 1 Gold. At the start of battle, gain 2 Luck. Chance-based effects of the Star items are 15% more likely to trigger.
Platinum Customer Card Customer Card & Customer Card Epic Accessory Reflects 2 debuffs for each starred Legendary, Godly, or Unique items. You can gain an additional unique item. You have a 10% increase in the chance of getting uniques.

How to craft in Backpack Battles

In order to craft items in Backpack Battles, you need to place the items next to one another in your backpack. After a full round, the items will merge together to make the new item. If the screen does not flash green text with the item you are planning to make, like it shows in the screenshot above, you have gotten the recipe wrong or the items are not touching on another in your backpack.
