In Alan Wake 2, you will be spending most of your time collecting evidence. This evidence will support various things including the open cases, finding out who the cultists are, solving puzzles, and more. When collecting evidence, you need to think like an actual FBI agent.
Utilizing actual logic can help solve nearly any challenge you’re presented with in this game. One mission that will test you a bit is trying to get the mask for the parade float. There will be a few steps you must take before being presented with this sought-after mask.

The Overlap Ritual
The mask you’re searching for will be needed to complete the Overlap Ritual in order to progress in the story. This won’t happen until after you’re led to the basement of the initially locked workshop when you’re getting the Clicker. After you grab the manuscript page, you will learn the importance of the parade and be told that the float is your next objective.
The other items needed to craft the float include a knife, cassette tape, and a circuit board that will move the arm of the killer. Most of these items are pretty straightforward, however, the mask can be a little tricky as it’s the only one without a location.
Utilize Profiling Ability
You must utilize Saga’s profiling ability to determine the location of the mask. When you’re in her mind place, take a look at the Koskelas; the brothers in the commercials. Once you’re done with that, move over to the Deputies when told to do so. You will then head over to the Case Board and reveal the information you’ve learned. This will give you the Huatori Well as the location for the mask.
Huatori Well
You will find the Huatori Well next to the float. You can access it through the nearby gate that connects the areas. When you’re looking at the float, this area will be to the right of you. You will notice the skull of a moose which is the mask you’re looking for. Take it to the float and put it on the killer’s head.
