At a recent briefing, developers revealed details about the planned release, stating that a worldwide launch would take place in May 2022. No exact date has been mentioned yet, but we’ll find out very soon. Recall that a few months ago, Apex Mobile launched in about 10 additional countries to extend beta testing, in preparation for a final global launch.
The game’s developers, Respawn Entertainment, have promised plenty of content for gamers to dig into, including mobile-exclusive modes, a classic World’s Edge map with twists and turns for old-school fans, and more. The standalone game was built from the ground up with mobile gamers in mind, with optimized controls. Apex Legends Mobile will launch with renowned legends such as Bloodhound, Pathfinder, and Wraith, with no doubt many more to follow. If you previously joined the beta testing phase and had the “client version too old errors“, well, after the month of May 2022, you won’t have to worry about that anymore.
Storm Point, Apex’s newest battle royale map, will be completely revamped when the game’s 13th season, Saviors, launches. As seen in the latest Saviors teaser (see video below), Storm Point is under siege, and the only thing standing in the way are our dependable legends. Fortunately, the legends triumph, but the slain sea beast leaves behind a massive carcass.
This same carcass adds a new point of interest to the mix, allowing players to enter the beast’s belly and see what treasures lie within. But that’s not all. The Storm Point evolution also introduces IMC armouries, which feature weaponry guarded by robotic Spectres. This PvE minigame can be extremely profitable, especially considering the better loot you’ll get the more waves you survive.
Storm Point further introduces smart bins, which tailor loot to your current loadout, ensuring that looting one is more often than not worthwhile. Not only that, but the new Apex season includes changes to the battle pass and ranked elements, as well as increased incentives for skill and teamwork.
Apex Legends: Saviors, which will be released on May 10, may be the game for you if you’re looking for some massive monster action. The Respawn team has gone all out, improving one of its newest maps to keep it fresh and entertaining, as well as creating an exciting PvE mini game that, if used correctly, has the tendency to change the tide of the game.
