Apex Legends Update 2.39 Patch Notes Reveal New Bug Fixes For November 8th

Advertisements

Following on from the successful launch of Apex Legends’ nineteenth season last week, Respawn Entertainment is aiming to fix a number of bugs in the game this week with a brand-new patch. The update is available to download now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Yesterday also marked the beginning of the Apex Legends x Post Malone event, a special collaboration with one of music’s biggest artists. Malone, who is an avid gamer and Apex Legends aficionado, has even designed some new skins for Legends such as Octane, Wraith, Horizon, and Lifeline.

The Post Malone event is live now and will be around for two weeks, along with the new limited-time mode Three Strikes, but for those eager to find out what’s new in today’s Apex Legends update, check out the full details below.

Apex Legends Update 2.39 Patch Notes

At the time of publishing this article, Respawn Entertainment is yet to share the official patch notes for today’s Apex Legends update. However, thanks to the game’s official Trello board, which tracks any issues and upcoming bug fixes, we do know what to expect from today’s update.

Whilst we wait for Respawn to publish the full changelog for the November 8th Apex Legends update, here’s what’s currently in the works, according to the Apex Legends Trello board:

  • [DX11] Nvidia Reflex is greyed out
  • EAC error with Steam Deck/Linux
  • Some players encountering Detected Data Mismatch error
  • [Ranked] Button mashing during rank up animation occasionally causes crash
  • [Conduit] “Matulog ka na lang” quip incorrect
  • Button prompts may not appear on summary/death screen, including report button – but buttons still work

Although the above issues are not confirmed to be rectified in today’s update, they are marked as “fix in progress” on Trello, which means a number of them could be included in today’s patch. We will be updating this article with the official patch notes as soon as they are shared by Respawn. Usually, patch notes are shared within the first hour of the update’s release, so make sure to check back in soon for further details.
