Your survival in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is largely determined by the quality of gear you equip. Using great gear will dictate your overall combat and stealth experience when you’re hidden in the bustling streets of Baghdad.
One such piece of gear is Milad’s outfit, a powerful Isu tech. However, finding it is not as simple as unlocking a chest guarded by a bunch of enemies. You’ll need to first collect five mysterious shards to unlock access to the outfit. To help you in this endeavor, the following guide provides a detailed walkthrough on finding the mysterious shards and unlocking the outfit.

Milad’s Outfit & Gear Location
Milad’s outfit is located within a chamber known as the Ancient Place, under the Northern Oasis, west of Baghdad. The Ancient Place is also associated with The Calling quest that involves collecting Milad’s outfit, Samsaama dagger, and Samshir-e-Zomorrodnegar sword.
Progress through the main story until you meet an associate named Nehal, who assigns you with a side quest called “The Calling,” requiring you to investigate the ancient writings within the Ancient Place.
There are three gear items within the chamber, locked behind a force field. You’ll require a specific number of mysterious shards to dispel the field. To unlock the outfit, sword, and dagger, you’ll need to insert five, three, and two mysterious shards into the corresponding locks, respectively.
Having found the Ancient Place, shards will start popping up on your map. These shards are in possession of the members of the Order. You can either pickpocket these individuals or kill them before looting the shards off their bodies.

Milad’s Outfit Features
Besides being one of the coolest outfits in the game, Milad’s outfit is fully upgraded from the get-go, making it one of the best outfits to pick up without worrying about leveling it up. The armor also comes with a special air assassination perk.
When donning the Milad’s outfit, successful air assassinations cause a stun effect within a 15m radius, enabling you to follow-up with subsequent assassinations on stunned enemies even if you’re detected.
While not part of the outfit, pairing the Samsaama dagger and the Samshir-e-Zomorrodnegar sword with the Milad’s outfit makes you a powerful force to be reckoned with. The sword halves Basim’s health while increasing his damage output by 50%. On the other hand, the dagger heals you by 10% for every fifth hit that connects with the enemy.
Upon donning Milad’s outfit, you’ll notice that it covers Basim’s face completely. But, if you’ve want to remove the helmet, you may want to check out a dedicated PC mod.
