Best guns in MW3 Season 3

In each season of Call of Duty, many things change, particularly the guns and their stats. If you’re wondering about the best gun to use in MW3 Season 3, don’t worry, I’ll tell you below.

Top weapons in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

In no specific order, these weapons in MW3 are not only versatile in their usage but also offer higher stats in terms of damage, rate of fire, and range than other weapons. You could even call these weapons meta, if you wish.

SVA 545 in MW3

  • Muzzle: Shadowstrike Suppressor
  • Barrel: STV Precision Barrel
  • Stock: Mane V6 Stock
  • Underbarrel: FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip
  • Rear Grip: Citadel Grip

The SVA 545 is my go-to assault rifle when it comes to weapons of choice in MW3. Ever since I reached level four, I rarely ever change it out for something else. The SVA 545 has a 30-round magazine with 90 rounds in reserve. If you’re just starting off playing MW3, you won’t need to swap this assault rifle with a different one for a while.

FJX Horus

  • Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
  • Barrel: Martis Heavy Barrel
  • Stock: Jak Glassless Optic
  • Underbarrel: 49 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: Lull-9M Grip

When you’re not using your AR to take out targets at medium and longer ranges, you’d want to use an SMG, of course. The FJX Horus is a brand-new SMG introduced in Season 3 of the game and can be unlocked by reaching Sector C8 of the battle pass. The FJX Horus has 32 rounds in the clip, with 96 more in its reserve.

MCW

  • Muzzle: Shadowstrike Suppressor
  • Barrel: MK. 3 Reflector
  • Stock: RB Regal Heavy Stock
  • Underbarrel: SL Skeletal Vertical Grip
  • Rear Grip: RB Claw-PSL Grip

The MCW is undoubtedly one of the most popular and most used assault rifles in MW3. Unlockable at level 44, the MCW has 30 rounds in the magazine and 90 in the reserve. The MCW is known for being one of the most consistently accurate rifles in MW3. With Season 3, it’s a meta rifle to use.

STRIKER

  • Muzzle: Shadowstrike Suppressor
  • Barrel: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Stock: RB Crotalus Assault Stock
  • Underbarrel: XRL Edge BW-4 Handstop
  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip

The Striker is a top-tier and one of the most powerful SMGs to use in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The Striker has 30 rounds in the magazine, with 90 in reserve, and each of these bullets packs a punch. If it doesn’t get any better, the Striker can be unlocked at just level four, allowing you to acquire one of the best SMGs in the game very early on.

MTZ-556

  • Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
  • Barrel: MK. 3 Reflector
  • Stock: MTZ Marauder Stock
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Rear Grip: Bruen TR-24 Assault Grip

There’s always a debate in MW3 when it comes to deciding which Assault Rifle is the best, whether it’s the MTZ-556, MCW, or the SVA 545. However, players tend to stick to the gun they prefer without reaching a definitive conclusion. The MTZ-556 has 30 rounds in the magazine and 90 in reserve, and you can unlock all this firepower at just level 12.

One thing to note about the best or meta guns in MW3 is that the environment is highly dynamic due to the frequent patches and updates released for the game. As a result, weapons receive various buffs and nerfs depending on what is considered more or less OP. So, I recommend that you use the gun you like the most.
