Clash Royale: 5 Best Little Prince Decks, Ranked

Advertisements

Little Prince is the new mischievous Champion in Clash Royale that you can claim for free. While the cost of deploying Little Prince himself is only 3 Elixir, in order to summon his guardian, you have to spend another 3 Elixir as well, which raises the price to 6 Elixir.

This new Champion card is quite powerful against both aerial and ground threats, but if you want to use it as a force against the opponent’s crown towers, you need to couple it with other troops who can distract the enemy’s army, so that your Little Prince does his job. That’s why we have listed the top five decks that provide the best support for Little Prince as the cannon of your attacks for destroying the opponent’s crown towers.

5 Mega Prince

Best Attacking-Focused Deck

Clash Royale Best Little Prince Decks 5

  • Hard-to-die Mega Knight will keep the attack going for a longer time
  • Vulnerable to rushing troops

Mega Knight is one of the classic troops to force your opponent to spend Elixir, and when it is combined with Little Prince and his guardian, you will have a great pushing army that can deal with both ground and air counters at the same time. It’s also best to add Dart Goblin to your army so that it can help Little Prince significantly in neutralizing counters.

Although the deck is strong in pushing forward, if for any reason the push gets denied, or you don’t manage to damage the opponent’s crown towers significantly, the counter-attack that you will be receiving would be scary, knowing that Mini Pekka and Firecracker would be your only major options to stand against it. Also, the lack of a structure card in this deck, makes it a bit vulnerable against rushing troops such as Hog Rider or Golem.

4 Double Giant

Best Deck For Effective Double-Elixir Phase Push

Clash Royale Best Little Prince Decks 4

  • Using Mirror allows for smart pushing plans
  • Spells like Fireball can deal significant damage to Witch, Cannon, and Little Prince

Although Mega Knight is a hard-to-kill soldier, what if we used two basic Giants for a push against the opponent? Of course, this needs to be applied in the Double Elixir phase, as you must take it lighter for the first minute of the game, so you don’t run out of Elixir.

However, once the Double Elixir phase begins, you can deploy a Giant at the back of your King’s Tower, and by the time he reaches the bridge, you can deploy the second one using Mirror. Now, you have a Dual Giant push, and it can be infused with the Little Prince on the back. You can also deploy one Giant on each side of the map so that you can confuse the opponent and force them to divide their deployments.

Unlike the previous deck, this one has a good distribution of aerial and structural cards, which makes it hold tighter against upcoming counter-attacks. Practically though, the deck may struggle against spells like Fireball and Poison.

3 Cannoning Forward

Best Deck For Defensive Scenarios

Clash Royale Best Little Prince Decks 3

  • A strong set of cards that can be decisive in both attacking and defensive scenarios.
  • Not enough economic options to deal with Firecracker

With both Flying Machine and Cart Cannon dealing damage with cannon shots, this deck is quite strong against any medium-health troops like Valkyrie, Golden Knight, or Executioner. Unlike all the decks on this list, we don’t have any giants to send forward, but packing an army of Valkyrie, Cannon Cart, Flying Machine, and Little Prince is dangerous enough for the opponent.

Fireball also plays a crucial role on this deck, as it can help you highly damage the opponent’s Little Prince (or any other troops of similar health) right off the bat, or simply open up the way for your pushing crew. With that said, this deck’s nightmare is Firecracker. Although you can defeat it with Fireball, that’s not an economic option, which could make it difficult for you to deal with it later in the game, especially if the opponent drops the evolution version of it.

2 Royal Trick

Most Balanced Deck In Attach And Defense

Clash Royale Best Little Prince Decks 2

  • Strong double-side push capability
  • Vulnerable to ranged damage dealers like Princess and Firecracker

Royal Giant might seem like the main face of this deck, but the truth is Wall Breakers are your secret option to annoy the opponent during the match. Thanks to Inferno Tower, this deck is quite strong against possible counterattacks — unless your opponent is using a Sparky, which can still be defeated using Electro Wizard.

So, you start your push with Royal Giant deployed on the back of King’s Tower, and then you add Little Prince when the giant is over the bridge, summoning his guardian soon after. Now, it’s time to trick your opponent by deploying Wall Breakers on the other side of the map. This will leave your opponent with a difficult choice: They either need to leave Wall Breakers to deal damage to the crown tower, or they have to respond to it, which will require spending at least one Elixir. Either way, you will have the upper hand, especially if you make Barbarian Barrel ready to deal with any spam targeting Royal Giant.

The only shortcoming of this deck is the lack of spells, which makes it difficult to deal with troops like Firecracker or Princess, who can target your army without being affected by them.

1 Rushing Elixir

Best Deck For Non-Stop Pushes

Clash Royale Best Little Prince Decks 1

  • Elixir Golem is a low-cost but quite effective giant
  • The deck is strong in both attacking and defensive scenarios
  • Countering Hog Rider or Ram Rider might not be possible without spending more Elixir than required.

The best deck that we came across during our experience with Little Prince is also the most economical deck we have discovered so far. Elixir Golem is the main face of the deck, and as you may already know, it’s such a die-hard giant in the game. So, sending Lumberjack forward, with the Elixir Golem and Little Prince following him, will turn into quite an effective push. If the opponent denies it with a structure card, worry not, as that’s when Bats and Firecracker come in handy.

Although this deck lacks a structure card to keep you safe against Hog Rider, Mega Knight, or any similar cards, the combination of Valkyrie and Bats or Valkyrie and Skeleton Army is always a good response against such rushes, though it might not be the most economic choice.

Last but not least, Arrows will help you stay safe against Firecracker and Princess shots, which could be quite annoying against Elixir Golem.
