Digimon Survive is the latest installment of video games in the Digimon series, from the command of Bandai Namco, we are introduced in a visual novel with elements of survival and strategy. This concept may sound a bit crazy, since it is not the typical RPG that tries to imitate Pokemon, but it is something different, a story with permanent decisions and consequences in your game. However, despite such an interesting premise, Digimon Survive suffers from review bombing for not being an RPG., bringing the game’s average score 30 to 40 percent lower than it actually is.

As Twitter user @TheNCSmaster SAMPLE, on the same day of the game’s release, Metacritic was full of negative reviews.. Such an event is due to the fact that many players were not informed about the genre and format of the title before the purchase. Something totally absurd since Bandai Namco has been detailing for a long time, practically years, what the game is like and showing that it’s unlike anything we’ve seen before in the saga.

Digimon Survive gets review bombing for not being an RPG
‘It would be a Digimon game I’d really like if it wasn’t so laden with visual novel elements that are completely out of place‘, comments like this are what fill the game sheets for each platform accompanied by a problematic zero. The game currently has a community score of between a 5 and 6 on Metacritic.. The game’s average has risen considerably since its release last July 29, but even if the game’s score progressively adjusts, the damage has already been done.
