Microsoft continues to fill its Edge Web browser with new tools, probably in an effort to please even those users whose requirements for the browser are quite specific. Like notes Neowin, the browser already contains many niche tools, the need for some of them raises questions, but the company is not going to stop and plans to add three more tools to the browser. The author of the Dr.Windows resource has learned known tothat a calculator, unit converter and speed test will soon appear in the browser.
Unit converter is quite a useful addition, speed test can also come in handy, although today there are quite famous resources on the web to check the speed of the Internet connection. But what for in a browser calculator is not very clear, the calculator is a standard Windows application. On the other hand, the Edge browser is used not only on Windows desktops, but also on Xbox game consoles, and there the calculator may come in handy. Maybe Microsoft is looking to add more tools to the browser and thereby expand the Xbox’s capabilities beyond the gaming console and multimedia device.
