Moonfire Faire 2022 will begin on August 10, 2022.. It will conclude August 26, 2022.. This puts it on a par with previous events, which usually take place from the second week of August.
Final Fantasy XIV Moonfire Faire 2022 Awards
Details about the Moonfire Faire awards leaked online in April 2022. Final Fantasy XIV content creator LuLu released photos of the new swimsuits, and also announced that Liza’s hairstyle will be available for Viera (Viera currently has a very limited number of hairstyles).
The reward, as expected, is a set of bathing and beachwear for the Warriors of Light. The complete set appears to contain chest, leg, and foot slots.
In addition, there is a brand new housing item in the set, viz. Summer Fire, will be added. This non-tradable and unique item will be available only in this event.
FFXIV Moonfire Faire 2022 additional information
Moonfire Faire 2022 will, as usual, have a quest line and some returning familiar faces. To begin the Moonfire Faire 2022 quest, go to Aftcastle in Limsa-Lominsa and talk to Mayaru Moyaru (X: 11.5, Y: 13.8).
Moonfire Faire is also traditionally a shorter or combined event because it coincides with The Rising, another event usually scheduled for late August or early September.
As a result, Moonfire Faire 2022 will likely overlap with or bypass the release of Patch 6.2. There is also a chance that Moonfire Faire or The Rising will come out the day after Patch 6.2. Square Enix has done this in the past when they announced an event the day after patch release. This has been happening more and more in recent patches, so it could very well happen again!
