Ghost Recon Frontline: Ubisoft Announces New Battle Royale Game

As part of the broadcast dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Ghost Recon series, Ubisoft announced a new addition to the military shooter. Oddly enough, the project will not be a complex tactical action game, but a “battle royale”.

Subtitled Frontline, the upcoming release is a free Battle Royale set in the iconic Tom Clancy universe. And of course, this will be more serious entertainment than the likes of Fortnite: operatives with specialized skills will fight in it, and it will be possible to win not only by being the last survivor on the map. Up to one hundred players will be able to participate in the matches.

Presumably, in addition to the classic “battle royale”, the project will feature other modes. Ubisoft is officially positioning it as a tactical PVP shooter with massive battles. However, the developers have not yet reported any specific data. Details will be announced as it unfolds.

  • processor: Intel Core i7 6700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600;
  • video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMR Radeon RX 480;

The project has no exact release date yet. Probably, the game can not be expected until 2023. It is known that Frontline will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S, as well as Google Stadia.
