Dubog Location
You can find this Infamous Foe far north of Hogwarts. This Infamous Foe doesn’t seem to require any kind of side quest, so you should be able to find it roaming around in the open world. If you’re looking for the exact location, we’ve provided an image above to help you find your way.
Take Out Additional Dugbogs
Even if it looks like the Rampant Dugbog is alone, you’ll find yourself up against several dugbogs with quite a bit of health. These are sturdy enemies, so you won’t be able to take them out quickly. This fight will be a bit about stamina, and you might want to have some potions handy in case your health gets too low.
You’ll want to stay on the move and try to keep the enemies in front of you. This will help you keep track of everything happening and stop you from being surrounded. During this portion of the fight, it would be useful to build up combos and save some ancient magic to use against the Rampant Dugbog.
Look Out For Their Tongue Attack
If you see the golden sigil above your head, one of the dugbogs is going to use a tongue attack against you. Be sure to toss up Protego as soon as possible. If you time it right, you can follow up with Stupefy and stun one of the creatures momentarily. Utilize your damage spells.
Look Out For Their Charge
When you see a red sigil above your head, one of the dugbogs is about to leap at you. This is a powerful attack that you can’t be blocked with Protego. You want to dodge out of the way as soon as possible. Keep moving because a couple of them may try to leap at you around the same time.
Taking Out The Rampant Dugbog
Once you’ve got the Rampant Dugbog alone, the fight should go pretty smoothly. The attacks of the Rampant Dugbog are the same as the regular dugbogs, they just hit harder and can wipe out your health. Be sure to dodge and use Protego based on the warnings above your character’s head.
If you manage to build up your ancient magic, it would be the perfect time to unleash that powerful attack. You’re most likely going to take out a significant amount of the creature’s health. Be sure to pair your magic with your best talents.
