Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world game that seeks to recreate the magic of the Wizarding World and bring it to life like never before. If you’re here, you’re likely on the hunt for some of the game’s Infamous Foes. Most of these enemies can be found lurking in the open world by themselves, but The Grim and The White Wolf have to be fought at the same time. That’s right. These two wolves reside together in a fairly small cave, meaning you won’t be able to take them on one by one. Not to worry, we’ve got tips and tricks to help you take down this duo with ease.

Where To Find The Grim & The White Wolf
You can find The Grim & The White Wolf to the west of Keenbridge, which has a floo flame you can use to get close. You can also use the image we’ve provided below to get an exact idea of where you should go to find these two Infamous Foes.
Defeating The Inferius
If this is your first time encountering Inferius, it’s important to note that it doesn’t matter what damage spell you use, they won’t take damage unless you light them on fire. So, you want to pull out one of your fire spells for these foes. Confringo is your best bet, as it allows you to keep a distance while still lighting them aflame. Once you’ve lit them on fire, hit them with as many spells as you can and as fast as you can. Lay down a lot of damage because Inferius is pretty durable, and they just keep coming for you.
Watch Your Surroundings
For this fight, you’ll be inside a small cave. Unfortunately, this means your foes have a large advantage against you. It’s hard to be mobile within the cave, and it’s even harder to create distance between you and your enemies. Both the wolves and the Inferius thrive in melee combat situations.
Defeating The White Wolf
Once you’ve got them by themselves, you’ll want to focus fire one of them down. The White Wolf might be a good choice. While you’re focusing on The White Wolf, you’ll still need to defend against The Grim. If you’re confident in your timing, you can wait for The Grim to charge you, trigger Protego, and move into using Stupefy against The White Wolf. This will faze The White Wolf momentarily and allow you to work in a lot of offensive spells.
Defeating The Grim
Once you’ve taken down The White Wolf, all you need to do is focus on The Grim. If you play defensively, you can use the same technique as you used against The White Wolf, this time using Stupefy on The Grim instead. Neither of these wolves are able to put up shields, so this fight allows you to lean into spells of whichever color you like most. For this fight, red spells might be best. Confringo is especially powerful when fighting groups.
