Honkai Star Rail: Jingliu Best Builds, Light Cones, & Teams

Jingliu is known as the mentor of Jing Yuan, and formerly the sword master of the Xianzhou Luofu. However, she eventually succumbed to Mara, and escaped Starskiff Haven before being stopped by Jing Yuan.

Jingliu is a 5-Star Ice character following the Destruction Path in Honkai Star Rail. She possesses abilities that allow her to be a powerful Main DPS, and take out multiple enemies at once.

Jingliu Best Build & Relic Sets

When building up Jingliu’s Relic stats, you’ll want just about any of the important stats for Main DPS characters, such as CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK, and SPD. Any sets that focus on enhancing these will be the most beneficial to increasing Jingliu’s damage. Here are the best sets we recommend for her.

4-Set Of Hunter Of Glacial Forest

The 2-Set of Hunter of Glacial Forest will increase Jingliu’s Ice DMG by 10 percent. The 4-Set will increase her CRIT DMG by 25 percent for 2 turns after she uses her Ultimate. Since Jingliu is an Ice-type character, increasing her Ice DMG will be incredibly beneficial for her. The boost to CRIT DMG will also be useful since she can already buff her CRIT Rate in her Spectral Transmigration state.

2-Set Of Rutilant Arena

The 2-Set of Rutilant Arena will increase Jingliu’s CRIT Rate by 8 percent. When her CRIT Rate reaches 70 percent or higher, her Basic ATK and Skill DMG will increase by 20 percent. As we said before, the Spectral Transmigration state that Jingliu has will increase her CRIT Rate, so she will often be receiving the Basic ATK and Skill DMG buff from Rutilant Arena. With these two sets, here are the main stats and substats to choose for each piece.

As with any Main DPS, make sure you’re really hitting that CRIT DMG stat to increase the overall damage from your CRIT Hits. CRIT Rate won’t be as important, since Jingliu is able to buff it when she enters the Spectral Transmigration state. ATK will increase her overall damage as well, and SPD will ensure she can attack more frequently.

To make sure Jingliu is reaching her full potential, you’ll want to ensure she is getting the best Light Cone possible. Anything that buffs her Ice DMG, CRIT Stats, or ATK will be the most useful for her as a Main DPS. Here are some of the best options to choose from.

5-Star Light Cone: I Shall Be My Own Sword

I Shall Be My Own Sword will increase Jingliu’s CRIT DMG by 20 percent. When an ally gets attacked or loses HP, Jingliu will gain 1 stack of Eclipse, up to a maximum of 3 stacks. Each stack of Eclipse will increase the DMG of Jingliu’s next attack by 14 percent. When 3 stacks are reached, it will additionally enable that attack to ignore 12 percent of the enemy’s DEF. This effect will be removed after Jingliu uses an attack. I Shall Be My Own Sword is Jingliu’s signature weapon, so you can easily get it side-by-side with her character banner. It is the most beneficial for her in increasing her overall damage, and will also give a solid debuff to an enemy’s DEF.

4-Star Light Cone: A Secret Vow

A Secret Vow will increase the DMG dealt by Jingliu by 20 percent. She will also deal an extra 20 percent of DMG to enemies whose current HP percentage is equal to or higher than her current HP percentage. A Secret Vow is a great 4-Star alternative, increasing her overall damage and giving her an additional buff when her HP is low.

4-Star Light Cone Alternative: Under The Blue Sky

Under the Blue Sky will increase Jingliu’s ATK by 16 percent. When she defeats an enemy, her CRIT Rate will increase by 12 percent for 3 turns. There aren’t many 3-Star Light Cones we would recommend for Jingliu, so we have provided you with an additional 4-Star Light Cone, Under the Blue Sky, as an option. The increase to her ATK is always useful, and the buff to CRIT Rate will ensure that she is getting those CRIT Hits as often as possible.

Jingliu Best Team Compositions

As you build a team for Jingliu, you’re going to want to ensure she has a healer on the team since her Spectral Transmigration state will cause her to take HP away from her teammates. It’ll also be helpful to provide her with the right Supports, especially ones that can make her enter the Spectral Transmigration state faster to boost her damage.
