In the tactical first-person shooter Ready or Not, you’ll have to join a SWAT team in a fictional American city during a crime wave. The game’s action is intense, so you’ll need a decent frame rate, so read on for more on how to make Ready or Not better.
How to improve the performance of Ready or Not?
The last thing you want to do is increase the likelihood of lag or crashing issues in your Ready or Not game. Your best bet is to go to the Settings menu and make any or all of the following changes. I would suggest making the changes one at a time to see how much difference each one makes, allowing you to have the best graphical and gaming experience possible.
Simple changes to graphics settings
- Adjusting the screen resolution: This can make things look a bit blurry, but will also increase FPS. I prefer blurry to dead!
- Select full screen mode: This allows you to pause applications running in the background, which can improve overall performance.
Additional changes to graphics settings
To make any of these changes, switch to Custom mode in the simple graphics settings:
- Antialiasing quality: Medium
- Frame limit: Disabled
- Motion Blur: Disabled
- Shadow quality: Medium
- Texture quality: Medium
- VFX Quality: Low
- View distance: Average
- VSync: Disabled
Again, there is no need to perform all of these actions at once. Try different combinations until the game works better. You don’t need to abruptly reset all the settings, perhaps a few will suffice. You can also check out our “Ready or Not Direct X” guide.
