Subset Games, the studio that previously worked on FTL: Faster Than Light, has announced a mobile version of Into the Breach.

Mark it in red on July 19th – that’s the day Into the Breach will get a free update and an iOS and Android version. Only you need to have an active Netflix subscription, which makes buying this game problematic for CIS residents. As for the free update, it will upgrade your basic version to the extended version, and it’s available for all platforms, probably including mobiles. Let’s see what it includes.

Into the Breach: Advanced Edition will give players the following:

  • 5 new mechs and about 40 new guns;
  • New pilots and their abilers;
  • New enemies, bosses, and missions;
  • More difficulty levels;
  • Support for 7 languages;
  • New music tracks;
  • And more.

Let’s go back to the mobile version – it will have a touch-optimized interface, zero ads and purchases, while in terms of gameplay nothing will change: it’s the same game as on PC.
