Lies of P is a world full of intrigue and mystery, with interesting enemies to fight and a more interesting world for the player to explore. Cryptic Vessels are essentially puzzles scattered in that world the player can interact with and solve.
Finding Cryptic Vessels in the first place is a big ask, but once you do, you can’t just start solving it. First, you have to decrypt the Vessel to reveal the puzzle, which you’ll then get to solve and reap the rewards.

Where To Find Cryptic Vessels
Cryptic Vessels are scattered throughout the city of Krat and associated neighborhoods. The first time you’ll encounter a Cryptic Vessel will be in the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel, hidden underneath the acidic swamp in the main hall.
- Follow the path from the Cathedral’s Stargazer and travel to the aforementioned hall.
- Dispatch any enemies you encounter and start to climb up to the upper floors.
- At the highest floor, you will have to go through a rotating wheel to land onto a platform overlooking the main hall.
- You’ll see a large brazier with a burning fire inside that you can interact with.
- Press E to push it down the platform and into the sludgy depths below.
- Go back down the same way you came to the floor of the hall.
- You’ll notice that the acid is gone, revealing a hidden set of stairs that lead underground. Follow them down, and you’ll find your first Cryptic Vessel in a big red box.
How To Decipher Cryptic Vessels
Players can decipher these secret Vessels to unlock a message that leads them on a wild goose chase across Krat for various rewards.
- Teleport to Hotel Krat.
- From there, go to the East Wing of the Hotel where Venigni is staying.
- Talking to Venigni will prompt him to comment on the Cryptic Vessel you’re holding.
- Ask him to decrypt the Vessel for you.
- Come back to him afterward, and he’ll have a clue for you that he found from the Cryptic Vessel.
