There are a ton of incredibly difficult bosses in Lies of P, though some of the hardest actually end up being the mini bosses. Some of these are optional and can be skipped, but are worth battling for the extra rewards.
The Owl Doctor can be found in the Barren Swamp, and has fast movements that makes him hard to catch. You will also need to fight him in a very tight room, making it even more difficult to dodge his attacks.
Where To Find The Owl Doctor
To fight the mini boss Owl Doctor, you’ll need to find him within the Barren Swamp. You’ll want to start at the Barren Swamp Stargazer in Chapter 8. From here, head straight out into the open where you’ll find a few Puppet of the Future enemies. You’ll want to stick to the wall, and head towards the back where you’ll see a little tent and campfire going.
From here, there will be a ramp on the right that you’ll want to go up and get into the small wooden house. Inside here, head into the back room on the right and make your way down the ladder. The Owl Doctor will be in here, and you’ll just need to approach him and talk to him to begin the battle.
How To Defeat The Owl Doctor
The big issue with the battle against the Owl Doctor is that you are stuck in a small room, making it hard for you to more easily dodge his attacks. And, when you keep a large distance between yourself and him, he will throw a knife at you and then attack with a powerful slash.
Though his movements are pretty fast, he has a Bone-Cutting Sawblade equipped as his main weapon, so his attacks when using this aren’t particularly quick. If you stay close to him, you can just dodge these attacks by going around him and behind his back. This way, you can hit him and stagger him, and then release a powerful final blow. You can use just about any weapon on him if you fight from up-close.
If you’d rather keep a distance from him, the best thing to do is equip the Puppet Ripper. This weapon will allow you to hit him from afar and get good damage on him. You can also bring the Aegis Legion Arm, and when he throws his dagger at you, use the Aegis to retaliate and send an explosion his way. This is the best way to approach the battle while still protecting yourself.
If you need a little extra boost on damage dealt, you can equip the Murderer Puppets Amulet which increases the damage dealt to humans. However, this amulet is found in Krat Central Station Platform in Chapter 9, so you’ll only be able to get it if you’ve already unlocked the following chapter. You can also use the Arm of God Amulet to increase attack damage with each successful hit, which you can obtain after defeating Champion Victor in Chapter 7 in the Grand Exhibition Conference Room.
