A motivity build in Lies of P means you’ll be getting massive damage on your enemies at the cost of your movement. However, the weapon options for this build are incomparable, and incredibly strong.
Noblesse Oblige in particular is one of the best weapons you can have in your arsenal for a motivity build. We will show you how you can unlock this weapon and use it for yourself.
How To Get Noblesse Oblige
Just like any other special weapon in Lies of P, you’ll need to defeat a boss in order to unlock Noblesse Oblige. You will need to finish off Simon Manus, Awakened God, the final main boss in Chapter 11 of Lies of P. This means that Noblesse Oblige can only really be used on your second run of the game, since it is only available towards the end.
The best way to take on Simon Manus is to utilize the large battlegrounds during the boss fight. Make sure you get a wide distance between him and yourself, and once he has released his attacks and is getting his energy back, this is the best time to fight back and attack him. It’ll also be much easier if you bring your Specter with you, since Simon Manus will be focusing on attacking him as well.
You should also bring along the Friendship Wishstone to heal your Specter during the battle. This will make the second phase much easier, since Simon Manus will still be focusing on your Specter, allowing you to get behind him or use throwing weapons from afar. He is weak against Acid, so make sure to bring anything that will deal Acid Damage on him to whittle down his HP.
Once you’ve finished off Simon Manus, you’ll pick up the Fallen One’s Ergo, which you can give to Alidoro or Hugo at Hotel Krat to get Noblesse Oblige in return.
How To Use Noblesse Oblige
With Noblesse Oblige now in your possession, you’ll need to know how to use it. First of all, this weapon is best suited towards motivity builds, so to raise its damage, you’ll want to focus on leveling up your motivity stat.
Noblesse Oblige’s Fable Arts include Ergo Release, which is a powerful downward blow that uses a certain amount of Ergo to be used. It also has Endure, which allows you to temporarily withstand an enemy attack. These two Fable Arts are a great way to protect yourself while also getting some extra damage on your enemies. However, make sure you are paying attention to the Ergo being used, so you don’t lose too much.
This weapon is particularly useful against slower enemies, since you’ll also need time to wind up your attacks due to Noblesse Oblige being one of the heaviest in the game. You could use it against the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood, Mad Clown Puppet, King of Puppets (first round), and more. Make sure when you have this weapon equipped that your weight capacity is high, otherwise Noblesse Oblige will be making the weight of Pinocchio very heavy. We suggest grabbing the Carrier’s Amulet to increase your weight limit.
