Like many other games in the Soulslike genre, Lies of P refuses to hold the hand of the player. It doesn’t let you pause, the mechanics are unforgiving, there’s no way to load saves, and the quests don’t have a lot of markers for you to find the right path.
One such quest is the Wine Quest that you get by talking to the Old Lady At the Window near the start of Rosa Isabelle Street. The silhouetted figure asks you to find a special type of wine for her to quench her thirst and fulfill her last request before she succumbs to the Petrification Disease.

Where To Find the Old Lady At The Window
- Travel to the Rosa Isabelle Street Stargazer or go through the Rosa Isabelle Street door after clearing the previous section of the game.
- Once at the Stargazer, move forward – passing under the bridge – and take the first left.
- Climb up the stairs and turn left two more times, going around the house to reach a ledge.
- Just before the ledge, you’ll see a dimly lit window with the silhouette of a lady who’s coughing.
- Talking to her will prompt her to give you the quest, leaving it up to you whether you want to complete it or not.
If you’re having trouble finding the old lady, this short clip can help you out:
Where To Find La Bleiwies
According to the Lady who gives you the quest, La Bleiwies can be found in the Underground Wine Cellar of the Lorenzini Arcade. If you’ve already reached the arcade, you’ll know that the location is a mess of interconnected rooms, underground passages, and misleading turns.
Finding a single item in the haphazard chaos of the arcade is a challenge for sure, but you should get the item naturally as you progress through the area. You’ll need to go through the circus puppet Miniboss. If you’ve already defeated the boss and still don’t have the La Bleiwies bottle, you must have missed it in the next room. Here’s how you can go back to get it:
- Teleport to the Lorenzini Arcade Stargazer. It’s the next one after the one on Estella Opera House Stage that you unlocked by defeating the King of Puppets.
- Go towards your left from where you spawn. This is the hallway you have to cross to come into the arcade the first time.
- Instead of going all the way outside, enter the underground by turning left from the shortcut door. If you haven’t unlocked the shortcut yet, you probably haven’t progressed through the game far enough to get the wine yet.
The game shows you points of interest in the Stargazer teleport menu with helpful pins of the relevant people next to their location. However, it doesn’t tell you where those people are staying.
- Follow the winding path down different sets of stairs and go around the turns to reach a clean room with barrels of wine lining the walls and taking up room space. You’ll also see a few monsters in gated sections of the room, trying to get out.
- If you haven’t defeated the Miniboss in the room yet, you will need to do so now because it’s necessary to progress to the next room.
- Once you’re finished with the Miniboss, move on to the next room, and you’ll find a large cabinet next to the left wall which has an item inside.
- Interact with the item to get the elusive bottle of La Bleiwies. Doing so will prompt Gemini to remind you of the Old Lady who requested it.
If you still can’t find the bottle, this clip might help. If it’s still not there, you probably have it in your inventory already.
Quest Reward
Go back to the Old Lady and hand her the bottle to get a Commemorative Venigni Token. You can then have Pulcinella appraise said token and get the reward of a Half Moonstone, an upgrade material which is used to progress weapon upgrades from +7 to +9.
