Defusing the bomb in London’s metro tunnels is probably one of the most exhilarating missions in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3’s campaign, but you will succeed only if you listen carefully to Soap’s guidance and act quickly, as a single mistake or delay will make the bomb to explode.

The entire process of defusing the bomb happens in three phases, interrupted by the rushing swarm of Makarov’s army that tries to get you off the bomb. Price is the only one fighting them off and Soap is focusing on the bomb. Expect the camera to switch to Price from the defusing screen from time to time.

The first time that you enter the defusing phase, Soap asks you to find the logo on the Bomb. So, you need to move the camera to the far right, passing over the pack of cables in the middle until you see the logo on a blueish background. When Soap asks for what is the icon, you need to reply with “Bear”.

In the second phase, Soap will ask you for a code number. Move the camera to the bottom left corner of the electronic board, where you can see the bomb switch as well as a code attached to it. When Soap asks for the third number of the code, you should reply with “Nine”.

In the final phase, you and Gaz need to cut the red wire at the same time. Price will begin to count to three, and as soon as he says “three,” you need to cut the wire.

That puts an end to this high-octane mission. The ending comes after this mission, which is the final mission in the campaign. Keep in mind that the game will not end once the credits start the roll. That is actually a mid-credit, which is followed by another cinematic that showcases a pretty important part of the story, though not the one we all would’ve expected.
