Call Of Duty is going all in on nostalgia with the release of Modern Warfare 3, as the game features a tonne of fan-favorite maps and weapons. Guns like the Holger 26 have resurfaced once again, along with the entire roster of Modern Warfare 2 weapons. One weapon that fans may be pleased to see is the MCW, which is essentially the ACR 6.8 from the original Modern Warfare 3.
The MCW is an Assault Rifle you can unlock upon reaching Level 44. This weapon sports one of the best levels of handling, mobility, and recoil control of its weapon type, without sacrificing a huge reduction in its other stat attributes. With the right attachments and the best loadout, the MCW can truly shine in mid-to-long-range engagements.

To kickstart your Perk Package, go ahead and equip the Infantry Vest to Tactical Sprint for an increased duration. Pair this with Lightweight Boots to boost movement speed, thus making up for any loss of mobility. Scavenger Gloves will ensure you never run out of ammunition. Finally, finish off with Mag Holster to drastically reduce the time taken to pop off a reload.
Recommended Secondary
The MCW is a reliable weapon for pretty much any situation when it comes to Core Multiplayer. With this being the case, instead of equipping a Handgun, consider running with a Launcher instead. The PILA is a great option in this regard, as it is capable of locking onto enemy Killstreaks.
