Modern Warfare 3’s launch has a little something for everyone this year. DMZ and Zombies players can dive into MW Zombies, while competitive Multiplayer players can dive into a multitude of modes and play on old maps. This year’s roster of weapons is packed with diverse guns. However, one of the more gimmicky, and possibly problematic weapons, has to be the Riveter.
The Riveter, like the MX Guardian, is a fully automatic Shotgun in Modern Warfare 3. This Shotgun sports one of the highest levels of handling and mobility in its category, along with the fastest fire rate. Though the recoil control and weapon kick of the Riveter are incredibly poor, equipping the right attachments can improve these flaws by a considerable amount.

Infantry Vest |
Scavenger Gloves |
Lightweight Boots |
Mag Holster |
Though which Perks you might find useful are entirely subjective, we do have some recommendations. First, consider equipping the Infantry Vest to boost your Tactical Sprint duration, along with the Lightweight Boots to increase mobility. Next, take the Scavenger Gloves to ensure you are always stocked up on shotgun shells. Finally, finish off with the Mag Holster to improve your reload speed.
Secondary Recommendations
Though the Riveter is pretty strong up close, we suggest equipping a swap-to-secondary to alternate to, should you need it. In this instance, a strong Handgun can prove pretty useful. The Renetti, the FTAC Siege, and the WSP Stinger are all solid considerations, but the TYR can be useful for packing a punch at a distance.
