Modern Warfare 3 has dropped and players worldwide are diving in to try it out for themselves. Multiplayer is back with a vengeance this year, bringing players back to the classic original Modern Warfare 2 maps that they loved all those years ago. Speaking of nostalgia, players browsing the SMG category may have come across the Striker, which resembles the UMP45.

The Striker is a nifty SMG you can unlock upon reaching Level 4. It is an all-around great SMG, sporting an average level of damage, superb mobility and handling, and one of the best levels of recoil control. Pair this with the best attachments and loadout, and you have a great weapon for close-range gunfights.

The Striker built below is the best for Modern Warfare 3’s Core Multiplayer. Running these attachment combinations boosts accuracy considerably, but also provides a slight increase in range, recoil control, and handling – but does reduce mobility by a small proportion.

Recommended Perks (Infantry Vest, Gloves, Boots, Gear)

We decided to run the Engineer Vest for our SMG class because it allows us to use two Gear Slots. For your Gloves, the obvious choice is the Scavenger Gloves. Cover Sneakers are a must for keeping you silent and deadly, but pair them with the Blacklight Flashlight to track down enemy players. Finally, finish off with the Mag Holster for improved reload speeds.

Recommended Secondary

Like most Loadout setups, your main go-to weapon will be your primary, and this is still the case with this Striker class. Therefore, make sure to take the PILA launcher in place of a swap-to-secondary. The PILA will allow you to take down enemy Killstreaks such as UAVs, thus making up for the exclusion of the Ghost T/V Camo.
