NASCAR 21: Ignition adds 4K resolution for non-xtgen consoles

The developers’ planned update 1.5 for the NASCAR 21: Ignition tie-in is now available to players as a free update. The patch improves the project on the latest generation PlayStation/Xbox Series consoles.

The most important innovation is the increase in resolution on non-Xtgen consoles to 4K, and the Series S is involved. With this resolution the livery on the cars became clearer, but the creators forgot to optimize the game – only 30 frames per second are available on consoles. Another small change is the loading of the Road America track, earlier it took about 30 seconds, but now it takes 10.

I want to remind you about the Nascar development plan, the picture shows when the additions will come out, as well as the release year of Nascar 23. From the plan you can see that version twenty-two will come out exclusively for Nintendo Switch, while Nascar 21 is available on the new consoles and PC.

A big update will be released in September that will bring a bit of variety to the gameplay – new cars and tracks from the current Nascar season. Three expansions are planned for release, but the developers have not provided any information about their content. Nascar 23 for PC and current generation consoles will be released in 2023. For now, only Nintendo owners can rejoice.
