In the last post on the game’s official website, publisher NetEase Games has shared new features and enemies in Once Human.

Once Human is a survival game for smartphones. Now it is going through a series of beta tests, where the developers are collecting feedback and making changes to the gameplay. For example, right now they’re working on the house building system; players can already make all sorts of penthouses with unusual architecture, but in future updates they’ll have access to different types of materials: wood, stone, and even aluminum. This will change not only the texture of the house, but also its appearance, from a shack to a modern high-tech building.

But buildings are also needed in Conquest Fortress mode, where you can now erect any type of shelter and put up a turret for a powerful response to the enemy. And since players have expressed interest in the history of the world Once Human, NetEase Games revealed a huge boss Arachsiam. Like other arachnids, it hides in wet and dark places, like mountains and canyons. Scientists believe it used to be an ordinary spider, but Stardust transformed it into a super-mutant.

One of Arachsiam’s features is a human skull in place of its head. As for this monster’s tactics, it takes its prey into the depths of the caveto allow its parasitic child to inhabit the poor man’s body. The child feeds on the energy of the “host” until it grows up. By then the “host’s” body decays, so the newly minted Arachsiam takes his victim’s skull.

Judging by Arachsiam’s further description, this creature prefers not to leave his nestThe monster is a monster, weaving a web and waiting for the slightest vibration emanating from its prey. At this point, the monster moves slowly toward its target, using venom to paralyze the enemy.
