Once every month or two, Nintendo showcases the latest projects through Nintendo Direct. The June edition of the program was dedicated to Xenoblade Chronicles 3, another role-playing epic from Monolith Soft studio.

As part of the 20-minute broadcast, the company showed story trailer, talked about the characters and classes, demonstrated gameplay, and shared plans for DLC for the cartoon JRPG.

Xenoblade fans will have to lay off the extra money – the developers have planned as many as three sets of post-release content: the first of them is set to premiere on December 31, 2022, while the second and third will come up on April 30 and December 31, 2023, respectively. Each of them will add characters and quests to the game, and the last promises to noticeably add to the story.

Recall that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will reach stores as early as July 29. Just like the second part and the remaster of the original, the game will be released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
